On Thursday we went to Smithills school for a workshop. It really helped me understand more about filming, and the effort and hard work that goes into making a tv show or film. It's not as easy as it seems!
I picked up a few tips aswell, such as something like over the shoulder angles, to shoot a few times from different angles & things like that. We worked with a man who'd worked on the bill, an actor and a camera man. It was interesting to see the way they worked and we even got to do our own film in the end. We all had roles to play; I was the camera assistant (not that good, but oh well) & we also watched as they three men used professional equipment to film their version of the scene. It was a little tedious, but it was worth it; I learnt a lot and would like to watch something like that again.
I took a few pictures but I don't have a clue where they are as they're on a school camera, so I'll try & upload them sometime (if i can find them).

Helloo, umm im very sorry for not posting i completely forgot, plus i've not really been anywhere worth telling you about anyway. But i thought since I'd not posted for ages that i'd post now :)
Soooo, umm.......
Yeaa, anyway hopefully me & courtney are going seeing Taylor Swift at the MEN in November 'cause we both love her !! :D i'm sure you've all heard of her but if you've not then WELL that's not very good, you need to listen to her NOW :D. Yeah, so i might do my review thing that we have to do on the concert, if it's any good which it should be. And i've never been to a concert before .. :( so it should be a good experience. When i've seen it i'll write a review. And next week i'm going cinema ( 2 for 1 :D ) so i'll try my first review then, but the last film i watched was a few weeks ago and i can't really remember it all that well so i think i'll wait.

Okay then, well that's about it for today :)

Blogs And Podcasts

Today i created my own blog :D this is my first time ever making one, so pleaseee be nice :)

The project we have been working on today was all about creating blogs and pod casts. I created my own blog, and learnt how to change the colour and fonts. We have also learnt how to add pictures, hyperlinks and other gadgets, and post out own blog.

For the past few hours we have been working on creating our own podcast on film reviews. We used garage band to create our podcast; firstly we wrote our script and recorded it, then we added it to garage band. We added stingers and a jingle, and used different effects to change certain parts of the podcast.

Overall this workshop has been very informative and i have learnt many things, most importantly how to create blogs and pod casts. I enjoyed the workshop and hope to develop my knowledge on these things further. Thankyou to Mrs James who taught us all this :)
